Connect visions of tropical paradise with an easy-going view of everyday life? No problem. Just-right photography helped bring Sweet Leaf Tea’s newly acquired Tradewinds brand into focus.

A Simple Plan

Tradewinds is a tea that keeps things simple. The brand offers natural ingredients and great taste without a lot of fuss. With bright new packaging featuring fresh tropical illustrations, the brand was ready to get noticed.

A simple site design puts the focus squarely on the product. Expansive, sunset toned photos create a mood of relaxation and enjoyment supported by a straightforward brand voice.

Unique photo backgrounds in each site section expand the mood and highlight the brand’s illustration style throughout.

One to Grow On

Site animations are achieved without Flash, keeping it trim and easy to maintain. High quality fonts delivered via the Google Font API and consistent global elements highlight the many ways to connect with Tradewinds.

A handy Store Locator uses Google Maps to help visitors find Tradewinds products, while Twitter and Facebook integration lets fans share their love of the real brewed tea with social networks. Fans can like the brand as well as individual flavors, and see how the fanbase is growing.

Tradewinds new Facebook and Twitter presences set the brand up for growth, and will propel a “real moments” campaign to include user generated content in the near future.
