Springbox Launches New Tradewinds Website
Austin, TX — Jan 20, 2011
After the success of the Sweet Leaf Sweet Spot Contest, a user-generated, social media contest built on Twitter's @anywhere platform and Facebook's Open Graph API, Sweet Leaf Tea asked Springbox to handle interactive duties for Tradewinds, a beverage company Sweet Leaf Tea recently acquired.
"We knew we would need a strong online presence for Tradewinds to go with its new brand identity," said Charla Adams, Brand Marketing Manager, "after working with Springbox on the Sweet Leaf Sweet Spot promotion we felt that they had a deep understanding of our business and a vision for how to bring the Tradewinds brand to life."
To convey the laid-back and easy-going feel of the brand's new makeover on their website, Springbox took advantage of colorful background photography, custom styles for each individual page, and high-quality fonts delivered via the Google Font API. A handy Store Locator uses Google Maps to help customers find Tradewinds products in their neighborhood, and Twitter and Facebook integration lets fans share their love of the real brewed tea with social networks.
Mike Bullock, General Manager of Springbox, said, "We're excited to continue our relationship with Sweet Leaf Tea. They're a wonderful client with a deep understanding of their brand, and we've enjoyed helping them grow the Tradewinds brand with this site."
Tradewinds is the latest in a string of client wins for Springbox, including CSIdentity.
