Springbox Selected to Showcase Expertise at South by Southwest Interactive 2011
Austin, TX — Nov 13, 2010
Springbox today announced that two of its SXSWi panel topics have been selected by show staff, advisory board and peers in the online community via the highly competitive PanelPicker process. The topics, developed by Art Director Phil Coffman and Copywriter Justin Clemens, two of Springbox’s finest, were among the first selected from more than 2,400 submissions.
The first panel, titled “Collaboration Nation: How Side-Projects Can Keep You Relevant,” focuses on making the most of an outside-of-work passion project. Based on the notion that these side projects can help maintain relevance in an ever-changing industry, the panel will inform attendees about the best ways to launch a side project, how to best balance it with career and family life, and how to manage collaborative relationships. The panel will also address the many benefits associated with working on side projects.
The second panel, “When Facebook Falls: Future-Proofing Your Social Media Efforts,” will offer social media secrets and tips to help attendees build audiences on any platform and create free-standing content that’s valuable even when not attached to a social network. The panel will address the concerns about content creation, social media networking, and the future of content on social networks.
“I think a lot of companies and professionals have unanswered questions about the future of their campaigns, and I know there will be a ton of great take-aways from this panel for anyone who is concerned about the ROI of social media,” said Clemens, who serves as Editor-in-Chief for Springbox blogs Insight and RPPL. “I monitor the happenings in the social media landscape every day, so it will be great to get major players together and see what they think as well.”
