Springbox Redesigns DG Website
Austin, TX — Nov 15, 2010
Interactive agency Springbox redesigned DG's website with an interactive home page, intuitive user experience and a restructured content strategy.
"The Flash-based home page gives our potential clients instant visibility into the extensive breadth and depth of our company offerings while easily allowing them to dive deeper into the site and our business if they choose," said Dean Hensley, DG's Director of Marketing.
"The redesigned site and refreshed site content allow both customers and potential investors to clearly see the added value that DG's production, asset distribution and asset management services provide," said Phil Coffman, Art Director at Springbox.
Rich Media Developer, Chris Shaheen elaborated, "The new design provided the opportunity to take a very aggressive concept and execute it with a great amount of precision and interactivity. The home page animation uses real-life physics including sine waves, randomly calculated time bursts and independent control points. This backend complexity allows the animation to be both modular and visually interesting."
In order to capture the diverse nature of DG's products and subsidiaries, Springbox performed in-depth research into the corporation. Once completed, this research led to a new site structure as well as updated content and imagery.
Hensley stated, "As an organization that's on Fortune's Top 20 Fastest Growing Companies list, it's important for us to be able to fully display our offerings as well as explain how we intend to continue growing. The new website built by Springbox does exactly that."
