Springbox Reveals AMD EMEA Consumer Marketing Module

Interactive marketing agency Springbox has assisted high-tech innovator Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) with the launch of AMD’s EMEA Consumer Marketing Module. The site module showcases AMD’s European-based OEMs by utilizing the new “Fusion” brand, while also guiding international consumers through an appealing rich media experience.
AMD approached Springbox to build a scalable site that could be updated with their top line of European OEM products. The creative execution also aligned with AMD’s new Fusion branding, reinforcing the brand statement “The Future is Fusion.” The result: a robust and flexible site module that refreshes their previous site with the new branding.
The Flash-based user interface guides three target consumer groups to products by offering three navigational paths — travel, home and play. The home page also includes a gallery of “see for yourself” videos that allow users to explore their own options. The site’s functionality reflects its flexibility — product results utilize a dynamic feed based on tables of criteria that AMD can update and manage in its own database.
When Springbox revealed the first phase of the site module to AMD, it was met with great response. The EMEA module became one of AMD’s top 4 marketing initiatives, extending the project into a second phase. Further enhancements in phase 2 allowed OEMs such as Toshiba, HP and Acer to extend their co-branding elements into each of the four user paths within the module, offering new opportunities for AMD’s B2B capabilities.
