Springbox Creates Cutting-Edge Website for Unicast

Interactive marketing firm Springbox has launched a new website for advertising and marketing technology company, Unicast. Unicast provides state-of-the-art rich media solutions for more than 120 top online publishers and advertising agencies around the globe.
The redesign gives Unicast.com a modern, relevant look while clarifying the Unicast message. “We wanted to create a user-friendly site that showcased the cutting-edge products Unicast offers,” says Shelly Leyden, Content Director at Springbox. “We also found ways to address each target audience, allowing each to find information important to them. This approach helped us reinvent the way Unicast talks about themselves and their products.”
This reinvention has lead to a better business model. “The new site really supports our sales process. We’re able to send prospects to the site to help them understand what we do and get visual examples of the creative we enable,” Bryan Hjelm, Vice President of Marketing at Unicast.
Unicast’s long history of online innovation — creating the first Superstitial rich media ad, the first interactive pre-roll and the first interactive 3D ad — allows them to be inventive with their own online presence. “In a fast-moving business world, cutting-edge companies like Unicast need to be able to update their online presence frequently,” says Becky Fabre, Account Executive for Springbox. “Parts of the site, such as the Showcase and Press Release sections, are hooked into a Content Management System (CMS) so Unicast can quickly and easily update these areas with fresh material.”
“We incorporated many innovative uses of technology,” continues John French, Senior Rich Media Developer at Springbox. “The site is filled with streaming video with overlaid Flash animations. We had to create catches and redundancies in order to keep these two moving pieces of technology synchronized and running simultaneously.”
