Springbox Wins Adobe Site Of The Day Award for Hoover's Microsite
Austin, TX — Nov 3, 2008
Interactive marketing agency Springbox has earned an Adobe Site of the Day Award for the Hoover’s “Stamp Your Passport" site. The travel-themed microsite secured the 11th Adobe Site of the Day Award for Springbox, garnering more recognition for the agency’s interactive capabilities.
Hoover’s teamed with Springbox to build a site promoting the ease and functionality of Hoover’s resources. The Springbox team responded with a sleek, engaging Flash-based microsite, leveraging Personalized URL (PURL) data to remind users that Hoover’s resources — branded the “fastest path to business” — can also be the fastest path to leisure.
Using a vibrant color palette and playful illustrative design elements, the site guides visitors through a series of questions tailored to individual travel preferences. Each answer is paired with a fun fact referencing Hoover’s resources that provide similar types of insight. Once the user completes the questions, his or her Flash-animated passport is stamped and a dream vacation destination is revealed.
Springbox has won several Adobe Site of the Day Awards for previous rich-media sites, including the Dell M1000e Rack and Cable Advisor, the Toshiba gigabeat microsite and Lollapalooza.com.
