Springbox Shines Light on AMD and Microsoft's New Ultimate Server Solution
Austin, TX — Mar 25, 2008
Leading interactive marketing firm Springbox has wrapped up an online learning presentation demonstrating how AMD Opteron processors and Microsoft Windows Server 2008 form the ultimate server solution for small- to medium-sized businesses. The project marks Springbox's first implementation of Microsoft Silverlight technology, a cross-platform web application development tool.
The presentation, which will be available online and as a stand-alone CD-ROM, details AMD and Microsoft's history of working together to develop new technologies, shining light on how AMD Opteron processors and Windows Server 2008 can help businesses improve their IT environments. Informative animations, info graphics and voiceover audio guide viewers through the presentation's five sections and resource center, the latter featuring additional information as well as AMD and Microsoft interactive demonstrations.
An alternative to products such as Adobe Flash and Apple QuickTime, Microsoft Silverlight enables marketers and web developers to use .NET programming languages to create immersive rich media web applications with vector graphics and audio and video playback. Springbox took advantage of Silverlight's easy closed captioning and video integration to explain how AMD Opteron processors and Windows Server 2008 help deliver enhanced IT infrastructures.
"We're proud to work with two respected industry-leading companies like AMD and Microsoft " Marili Cantu, Springbox Account Director said. "At Springbox, we stay current on industry trends to give our clients diversified solutions — using up-and-coming technologies like Silverlight continues that tradition."
Springbox staffers received extensive Silverlight training in the course of developing the presentation. The agency plans to leverage this knowledge for future projects.
