Springbox Distinguished With 7th Adobe Site of the Day Win
Austin, TX — Oct 4, 2007
Springbox was recognized with an Adobe Site of the Day listing for the Dell "Grow Smarter" info site, bringing the Austin-based interactive marketing firm's "site of the day" total up to seven – in little over a year. The distinction signifies recognition and esteem from one of the creative industry's true heavy-hitters.
The Dell: Grow Smarter site was developed to promote the computer manufacturer's new PowerEdge servers with quad-core Intel® Xeon® processors. Featuring smooth Flash animation, elegant design and effective messaging, the site clearly illustrates how to "grow your business, not your data center." It follows a blueprint that Springbox has leveraged, building informational marketing sites for a collection of blue-chip clients.
"Our design team takes it as a point of pride whenever our work is recognized as an Adobe Site of the Day," says Springbox Group Creative Director Adrian Taylor. "Just as Adobe's products have shaped the creative field, [Springbox's] work has exemplified excellence in that field." Springbox created the Grow Smarter site using Adobe flagship products Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Springbox received previous Adobe Site of the Day mentions for work on AMD, Lance Armstrong Foundation and Lollapalooza sites. The company's 2006 Lollapalooza site earned a 2007 Webby Award for Best Event Website.
