Springbox Launches Dell Lounge
Austin, TX — Jun 26, 2007
Austin interactive marketing firm Springbox and computing powerhouse Dell rolled out the red carpet Tuesday for the premiere of the Dell Lounge (www.delllounge.com), a multi-tier entertainment and lifestyle site. With pages devoted to marquee performers, underground hit-makers and dazzling events, the new site is poised to become a prominent web destination.
The Dell Lounge gives the computer company a chance to leverage its broad network of sponsorships to reach new audiences and play up its fun side. For its global launch, the site is featuring Justin Timberlake's upcoming fall tour, the Austin City Limits Music Festival, the BMW Sauber F1 Racing Team and the Dell Inspiron® Urban Challenge event. Committed to their unique vision of "Lounge Life,” the Dell Lounge tastemakers hope to have a major presence at music festivals, gaming cons and outdoor events.
Springbox was instrumental in developing the site look and feel, and crafting the distinctive Dell Lounge voice. The Flash site is bold and stylish, with an intuitive tabbed interface and interactive pages that leverage high-quality streaming video. The site's voice is fresh and casual, with an edgy tone that communicates Dell's cool side.
"The Lounge is the perfect venue for Dell to create a unique lifestyle brand," says Springbox co-founder Dan Isaacs. "We're excited to be the agency that's driving the Dell Lounge identity, now and into the future." Springbox has signed on to lead site expansion and development, and pitch the unique attractions that will set the Dell Lounge on the path to stardom.
