Springbox Partners With Circuit City on Holiday Gift Finder

To help Circuit City capitalize on each stage of the holiday shopping season online, Austin-based interactive marketing firm Springbox has worked with the electronics retailer to design hub pages for their Holiday Gift Finder.
Springbox has created the Holiday Gift Finder hub pages to improve the online shopping experience, making the search for gifts easy and intuitive throughout the year. Using a few simple drop-down menus, the site’s visitors can shop by recipient or by interest and find gift recommendations instantly.
To set the Holiday Gift Finder apart from the other options available online, Springbox devised a strategy that speaks directly to shoppers’ needs. Unlike other gift guides, Circuit City’s Holiday Gift Finder utilizes its hub pages to appeal to users according to time of year and type of personality. Early shoppers who visit the Holiday Gift Guide are presented with specials that serve as a kind of reward for their foresight. Last-minute shoppers, on the other hand, are reminded of the options still available to them in terms of free shipping and in-store pickup. By creating hub pages that are scalable and personalized, Springbox has helped Circuit City design a gift guide that stands apart from the rest.

The Holiday Gift Finder project is one of several ongoing projects Springbox is currently handling for Circuit City. Other initiatives include a sitelet for the nationwide launch of the "firedog Across America" contest as well as multiple rich media experiences designed to bolster the Circuit City brand network and showcase product features.
