Springbox Launches AMD Motorsports Website
Austin, TX — Jun 20, 2005
Springbox, an Austin-based interactive marketing firm, has launched www.amdmotorsports.com, the AMD (NYSE: AMD) website for two Formula One racing teams sponsored by the company, Scuderia Ferrari and Sauber Petronas. The AMD Motorsports site is one of several projects AMD has hired Springbox to create.
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. chose Springbox to develop and launch the AMD Motorsports website because the firm develops leading-edge interactive content and demonstrates in-depth knowledge of sports marketing. AMD is the Official Sponsor and Technology Partner of Scuderia Ferrari, and is an Official Technology Partner of Sauber Petronas.
Using a combination of Flash animation, HTML and video, Springbox has provided both Formula One racing teams with a powerful digital presence and has helped better position AMD’s high-performance technology across the web.
Recent projects Springbox has completed for AMD include www.amdprocycling.com for the company’s Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team sponsorship and an eLearning module for the unveiling of AMD Dual-Core processors. Springbox is currently working on several other ongoing projects for AMD.
