Springbox Lands Multiple Ongoing Projects with AMD
Austin, TX — May 18, 2005
Springbox, an Austin-based interactive marketing firm, has launched www.amdprocycling.com, the AMD (NYSE: AMD) website for The Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team.
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., the Official Technology Sponsor of the Discovery Team, chose Springbox to develop the Pro Cycling site because of the firm’s in-depth experience with interactive development and its knowledge of sports marketing. Springbox manages www.lancearmstrong.com and www.thepaceline.com, Armstrong’s official fan club website.
Using animation, Flash and video, Springbox has provided the Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team with a powerful digital presence and has helped better position AMD’s high-performance technology across the web.
“We wanted to leverage Springbox’s knowledge of The Discovery Channel Pro Cycling Team,” said AMD’s Sports Marketing Asset Manager Bruce Turner. “They have the experience and skill set we needed for this project.”
“Designing sites for a global leader like AMD is an amazing way to kick off our second year of business,” says Adam Moore, co-founder of Springbox. “AMD is a ground-breaking global technology company and we’re excited to be working with their team on this project and thrilled to be moving forward on our next AMD projects.”
In addition to the Pro Cycling website, Springbox has launched a high-end multimedia demonstration of AMD’s revolutionary new multi-core processor and has also been hired to complete additional projects in the near future.
