Springbox Launches Austin City Limits Website

Austin, TX — Oct 6, 2004

Springbox, a new interactive marketing firm based in Austin, Texas, launched www.austincitylimits.com on Friday, October first.

Springbox was hired by Capital Sports & Entertainment (CSE) to create the new ACL website. Their objective was to develop a unified brand with a single look and feel for both the 30- year-running television show Austin City Limits and The Austin City Limits Music Festival. The site offers current season programming, festival information, in-depth artist information and merchandise available for purchase online. Designed completely from scratch and built in a fast time frame, the new Austin City Limits site is now live.

“The main challenge for this project was managing multiple decision makers and meeting each of those groups’ business objectives,” says Springbox founder Dan Isaacs. “We merged the ACL interests of CSE, KLRU and PBS into one comprehensive site.”

Maury Sullivan, KLRU Vice President of Marketing and Communication stated, “We are incredibly pleased with the new Austin City Limits website. Springbox played a crucial role in helping us create a great looking site that acts as a one-stop shop for all things Austin City Limits.”
